Protera Technologies is a managed services provider for all types of IT systems, but we specialize in hosting and managing SAP and other ERP systems in the cloud. As such, our customers have extensive security, availability and confidentiality requirements and expectations. Audit Liaison was referred to us to assist in our initial SOC 1 audit. The Audit Liaison team was able to grasp our operations, help us identify where our controls were meeting the SOC 1 requirements and where we needed to improve. They helped us create all the information security policies and procedures that were expected, assist management in performing a risk assessment, train our employees across the globe on Security Awareness, and acted as an intermediary between my team and the independent auditors. We continue to enjoy successful audit results and continue to work with Audit Liaison as Protera’s outsourced audit and compliance department. I don’t believe that Protera could continue to grow at the pace that we have without the cooperation and guidance we’ve received throughout from Audit Liaison. As new requirements and mandates arise, like GDPR, Audit Liaison has been instrumental in helping Protera meet each new regulation.
